“We ask nicely for years and get nothing. Someone makes a threat, and it works.” —Ingrid Newkirk
“We played the game, we played the rules. We were moderate, reasonable, and professional. We had data, statistics, and maps. And we got fucked. That’s when I started thinking, `Something’s missing here. Something isn’t working.’” —Earth First! activist Howie Wolkie on attempts to protect wilderness through compromise with the US Forest Service

Early last week we identified 18-year old “Student X” who moved to Florida from Washington to work at the Sid Martin Biotech Incubator — a $22 million University of Florida concentration camp in Gainesville. Research into X’s background revealed personal details that potentially rendered her emotionally vulnerable. Additionally, we knew that she was still isolated in this state. We knew the exact nature of her position in the dungeon and sought to remove her from the equation, just as we will seek to eliminate student vivisectors or any youth we deem complicit. Parents need to reconsider sending their kids to Florida to participate in institutional animal abuse in any capacity.read more
A member of the extremist animal rights group Negotiation is Over may face criminal charges for violating a trespass order by distributing fliers on campus offering $100 for personal information about UF researchers who use animals in experiments.
UF police confirmed that Lisa Grossman, 50, of Jacksonville, entered the Cancer and Genetics Research Building July 9 to distribute the fliers.
Grossman, along with fellow NIO member Camille Marino, was issued a trespass warning Dec. 18 after staging a protest during a fundraiser inside the Curtis M. Phillips Center.
University Police Department Maj. Brad Barber said campus police are taking all necessary steps to secure campus research facilities.read more

On Tuesday evening, May 2, Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) in Gainesville held a biotech event for students looking toward further education and future careers as, among other things, biomed students, animal lab technicians, or those who simply maintain the torture apparatus in laboratories. NIO Florida was pleased to have all of these potential abusers in one venue.
This was Kindergarten for Vivisectors!
Upon graduation from their two-year college, many of these individuals will compose the new crop of animal-abusing juniors at the University of Florida in the fall as well as become participants in SFCC’s new 4-year laboratory sciences program scheduled to open in Progress Park. We need to note that we took pictures of students and vivisectors entering the event for identification purposes and reference material in the future. All images were captured in public where, according to the Supreme Court, no one is afforded a right to privacy. These pictures will only be published in the fall if the students make an incorrect decision to pursue careers as professional animal torturers.read more
Camille: Did you remember to bring that list of attendees?L
isa: Yes….it’s 24×36, lol!
“Welcome to NIO, you’ve made our list of murderers!”
Simulposted with Negotiation Is Over Every year UF’s Silver Society recognizes the 25th reunion of alumni. As we work to stop the flow of money into UF, this demographic is very important in that lumni drive finance and drive policy in universities. As we know, the less money UF gets the fewer primates they can torture. NIO Florida is committed to removing as many tools of oppression as possible from the hands of UF’s mutilators and closing their heinous prison camps…until every cage is empty and all are free. As the attendees arrived they were led down a carpet by a gauntlet of revelers then through a balloon arch while being cheered on for the college they graduated from. NIO met them from many angles showing vivisection pics and telling them when they write a check, this is what they are approving. Some arriving attendees tried to walk around us, others laughed, still others tried to not look as they huddled closer to each other! NIO will again be in full force when bio-students – apprentice vivisectors – arrive for the new fall semester.read more

Dear Ms. Sikes:
I am copying Dr. Ding in this communication and welcome his input on this very serious issue that directly concerns him.
I am also copying Gainesville Sun Reporter Nathan Crabbe since we have each spoken to him separately about the nature of Dr. Ding’s research.
Given that you just denied to furnish me with public records per my request in accordance with this state’s open records law, Fla. Stat. Secs. 119.01 to 119.15, it seems prudent that our communications going forward be subject to a degree of public scrutiny.read more

NIO Florida extends our sincere appreciation to the University of Florida for hiring all of the extra Gainesville police, University police, security guards, and assorted undercover thugs who helped us disrupt their event last night. But we need to give a special “shout out” to Matthew, the guard who was hired as Marino’s personal chaperon. He was instrumental in piquing the revelers’ curiosity who, otherwise, would have had no clue about what we were doing. Thank you, Matthew. You are now an honorary member of NIO Florida! And thanks to the University as well. We could never have afforded to pay for all the extra intrigue. We look forward to having you fund many more of our disruptions in the future.
Every single guest was “educated” with an elegant little party favor.
Our newest admin, Divine Destiny (Stephanie), led an effective and coordinated demonstration outside UF’s “Chocolate & Champagne” holiday gala while Lisa Grossman & Camille Marino infiltrated the event. Although we have no pictures of the outside action, Stephanie and our comrades intercepted every single guest before Lisa & Camille took over inside.
Two of our escorts
UF was prepared and waiting for us. Lisa and Camille entered the event separately and, just coincidentally, they were the only two guests who were taken aside and searched. We have a sneaking suspicion that they knew who we were… especially since they set up a special table by the stairs that was “Reserved for Lisa Grossman & Camille Marino.” Advised that they could not enter the event with their terroristic paper party favors, the NIO Florida admins went outside and made an obvious showing of passing the contraband off to Stephanie while tearing the lining of Marino’s bag to smuggle half back inside.read more
In order to protect and promote that which is in the best interest of the general population, a public dialogue must be advanced on the issues surrounding animal-based research and complete transparency is a necessary condition if we are to proceed. However, because of the secrecy in which this type of research has remained shrouded, we have been effectively stripped of our ability to negotiate informed and intelligent decisions. As a society, we are ill-equipped to discuss the scientific efficacy and the ramifications of any pursuit until we are afforded an opportunity to understand the issues.read more
This sadistic aberration is awarded over $700,000 annually (through 2010) in tax money to infect dozens of imprisoned macaque monkeys with neuroAIDS, a designer-strain of the AIDS virus that causes damage to the organs, reduces healthy individuals to physically incapacitated beings fated to endure endless series of torturous experiments. And Salemi’s claim to fame is driving primates insane by inducing dementia. It’s enlightening to note that, although he was precluded from infecting human children as his counterpart Josef Mengele did in nearly identical experiments at Auschwitz, Salemi used children tragically born with AIDS to monitor – not intervene or help — them as their diseases progressed. He heartlessly recorded their deterioration and, as the children suffered he stood bereft of empathy simply noting their torment. And, clearly, upon their deaths, their useless corpses were unceremoniously dismissed… returned to grieving families who’s children, like the monkeys he sickens, mutilates, maims, and murders today, had spent their short time of this planet living in torment — human experiments under the watchful gaze of a violent psychopathic degenerate. This highly-respected and well-paid sociopath’s reign of terror will end!read more
